Time Warner -- tradition isn't awful all the time

Lest anyone assume thatI knock tradition because I hate it, let me applaud Time Warner's decision to once again pay a dividend. It's one thing for a company that's built on novelty to pursue a novel culture, but media empires thrive on tradition and (as Time Warner found out during the AOL/Time Warner days) crash and burn when they stray too far from home.
